Title

The Jones Theater is a live, historic playhouse in the scenic mountain town of Westcliffe, Colorado

Description

A life-long pianist, BILL PROTZMANN has become recognized as a refreshing new talent in musical entertainment. His signature is an intimate, cabaret-style show featuring music and storytelling. From his diverse musical back ground, Protzmann showcases music of all types, from Classical and Romantic to Torch songs, Spirituals, Jazz, Ragtime and New-Age improvisation.

Since college, Bill has performed as a solo entertainer in Southern California's most exclusive restaurants, hotels, and small theaters. His newest one-man show, "For The Love of Music," has toured throughout the Western United States and Bill performed to a sold out theater audience at the Jones Theater in the summer of 1998.

AMY WARNER and MICHAEL HANEY, who made a hit at the Jones Theater last season in "A Turn Of The Screw" and "Stories And Scenes From Our Life In The Theater", are hard at work in the theater in Los Angeles. Michael just directed the critically acclaimed original play "Ohio" by Mark Soper and has moved on to direct "Scotland Road" by Jeffery Hatcher at the Pacific Residential Theater in Venice, California. Amy plays a doctor, who treats a woman survivor of the Titanic found floating on a iceberg TODAY. We hope to tempt Amy and Michael back next season for another of their outstanding performances. Michael comes to us from the Allenberry Playhouse in Pennsylvania, where he was a director for a number of years.
