- It goes without saying that many, okay, maybe just a few of you have missed reading my political views about this year’s election. In my defense, since joining the Navy, I have been without my computer until just recently. More importantly, I have been busy with my submarine electronics classes. And thirdly, I am not permitted to make certain kinds of political statements in a published work. Although there is no official guidance on how the current law applies to blogs, I won’t violate the spirit of the law, the way it applies to other published works. I won’t officially endorse any particular candidates, or parties. I can express my opinions though. What follows is a private citizen’s honest opinion. In fact, I want to make it very clear that every post on this blog is in no way endorsed by the United States Navy, or anyone else for that matter. If you choose to agree with me, that’s great. With that having been said, allow me to make a few observations about the upcoming elections.
