Description
After 4 ½ years of design, drawing, history, psychology and several other classes I received a degree in Apparel Design. My favorite classes by far were the textile design classes, which include silk screening, batik, tie-dye, and a few other techniques. After college I worked at a couple companies that incorporated fabric design with apparel design. I have designed and painted women's clothing, children's clothing, napkins, placemats, lampshades, and even silk ties. When I moved to Albuquerque, NM, I found that there was little work in clothing design but a lot of work in jewelry design. For several years I worked at a jewelry manufacturer doing a little design, but mostly overseeing production and marketing. I have always missed working with fabrics and paints, so that is why I started Julia Caroline Designs. I hope you and your little ones enjoy my clothing as much as I enjoy designing it.
Julia Caroline Designs creates original hand painted clothing for infants, toddlers and all young children. All the garments are painted after the order is received which makes every piece original. No two garments are ever identical, so a gift from Julia Caroline Designs is very unique.
I specialize in children's rompers, onesies, dresses, and clothes for all youths, toddlers and babies. You can even match your babies booties and hats. Everything I offer is available in all my designs. If there is a shower coming up and you want to buy an entire outfit for the little one I can match the clothing from head to toe.
