Description
The JUTA (Jamaica Union of Travelers Association) - Negril Chapter was formed in the early 1960's and was founded with 50 original members. JUTA was formed because of a need to provide tour and taxi movement in and around Negril as well as from International Airports and all tourist attractions and locations throughout Jamaica. The Negril Chapter of JUTA currently has approximately 300 drivers who provide fully equipped transportation in buses, cars, coaches and luxury vehicles. All drivers are required to have Road Safe vehicles that meet all licensing and certification requirements as well as all of the vehicles being fully air conditioned and having seat belts. All drivers must have a current road license, JTB (Jamaica Tourist Board) license and a TPD Co. (Tourism Product Development) license.. http://www.jutatoursnegrilltd.com, info@jutatoursnegrilltd.com

Juta Review
My husband and I were in Jamaica recently for a week. We stayed at Sandals Negril, and took several tours while there. Some of our best experiences were with our JutaTour drivers. They were very kind, pleasant, and friendly. Our best experience was with a driver named Avril. He took us on an Appleton Estate tour we scheduled through our resort. We were the only passengers for the tour that day. We spent hours with our driver, as there were other scheduled stops to make. We learned so much from our driver!! Avril shared his knowledge about Jamaica, the people, culture, and way of life. He answered all of our questions, and then some. It was very important to me, being my first time in Jamaica, to learn as much as I possibly could while I was there. We also felt very safe with our driver, they are very known and respected members of the communities. Thank you to Juta, and especially to Avril, for halping to make our experience educational, and fulfilling.
