Kentwood Amateur Astronomy League (KAAL) is virtually located in the "urban-lighted" suburbs of Grand Rapids Michigan, USA. We have periodic meetings and are proud to welcome you to our web site. Please look around and let us know if we can help you in any way. Anyone is welcome at any KAAL event or meeting. There is no charge to be involved in meetings or events at this time, we are not a formal organization. A donation may be requested to help defray costs at an event, such as food at a star party. Our participants are only required to be interested in astronomy and actively attempt to expand their knowledge.
KAAL is dedicated to helping our members advance their knowledge of astronomy through training sessions, observing, and interaction with others who are doing the same.
KAAL is a group of people who share an interest in all things astronomical. We have participants from all walks of life and all levels of experience who share a common goal of advancing our astronomy knowledge.
