I began "pickin for a livin" after graduating from the Musicians Institute in Los Angeles in 1989. After years of being on the road, loading and unloading my gear, I knew there had to be a better way of protecting and keeping track of my musical gear. We all know we can forget to pack shampoo, but, you can't misplace or lose your mics, cables, set-list, etc.
It didn't take me long to realize I needed a few more hands to get me to a gig with the least amount of time and trouble. I came up with the idea of attaching exterior pockets to my amp cover, enabling me to store my gear more conveniently without constantly loading and unloading. With the help of my aunt in Texas, I was able to get a prototype made for my own personal use. Not only did it make my life easier on the road, but for local gigs as well. My only problem (if you could call it a problem), was my picker buddies, that saw my amp cover with pockets, wanted one. That alone made me realize the need for such a product.
I immediately applied for a patent and began the research and development process. After two years of intense R & D, I had a product made in the United States with incomparable quality. Our manufacturing team has 20 years cumulative experience and a state-of-the-art plant comprising a total of 90,000 square feet of manufacturing space. Our manufacturing equipment and systems enable us to provide a unique amp cover that is versatile and of the highest quality available today.
