- After serving in the military for nine years Rod decided it was time for a change, he left the Navy and went to work for one of the largest foodservice distributors in the country. After climbing the management ranks in the Dallas Fort Worth area for 8 years it was again time for a change. In 2008 with a vision of owning his own company he left the Dallas Fort Worth area and relocated to Kansas City to start KCExpress Courier.
