- The Kapiti Coast District Library Service plays a key role in the social, economic and cultural wellbeing of the community. The libraries are located in Paraparaumu, Waikanae and Otaki. Each library provides a free lending and information service, and has a range of traditional library materials such as best selling and popular fiction and non-fiction, magazines, newspapers and reference materials. These collections are supplemented by a variety of music CDs, DVDs, talking books and videos. Access to online databases and information is available from the public access Internet PCs and from the library’s web site from home or work.
