HOPE FOR ARD SUFFERERS-ADHESION RELATED DISORDER
Adhesions are bands of scar tissue that form within the body due to surgical trauma, inflammation, PID, or injury. Adhesions elude the eye of standard medical tests, thus giving way to victims becoming victimized further by physicans who misdiagnose the condition. Many victims of adhesion related disorder will be "treated" for illnesses they do not have. Many victims, especially women, may suffer incredible, debilitating pain as these fibrous bands of scar tissue bind organs together. The intestines are often involved, which slows the passage of food. Loops of adhesions can narrow (strangle) the intestinal tissue, which can result in complete bowel obstruction.
