About

I became a designer out of necessity, and remain one out of love for the craft. When I founded the online literary magazine The Paumanok Review in 1999, I was greeted with a flood of submissions from all over the world. The seriousness of their commitment to the arts demanded that I create a publication that took its design every bit as seriously as its contributors took their craft. After nineteen quarterly editions, that dedication to beauty and creativity remains TPR's hallmark.

In 2001, I opened a second magazine, Critique, which publishes reviews of new and classic books and feature interviews with writers and filmmakers. The annual "On Writing" edition has included contributions by Pulitzer Prize and Newbury Award winners, U.S. Poet Laureate Billy Collins, and best-selling authors including David Baldacci, Margaret George, Clive Barker, and Homer Hickam.

I opened Wind River Press in 2002, which necessitated expanding my skills into print. Wind River's books have garnered praise in the international press for their content and design, and I'm looking forward to releasing at least two more print titles before the end of 2004.
