KavitaKriti - My speciality is hand painted silk scarves with indian motifs. Through KavitaKriti my hope is to create awe-inspiring silk scarves that are an honest reflection of my indian roots. I want to promote the arts and crafts of India by using designs, patterns and motifs that are prevalent in Indian textiles and traditions in my scarves. You will find mandalas, peacocks, elephants, paisleys, sari borders, indian textile designs and much more in my silk scarves... My name is Kavita Gandhi and I created Kavita Kriti (Creations by Kavita). My speciality is hand painted silk scarves with indian motifs and through KavitaKriti my hope is to create awe-inspiring silk scarves with an honest reflection of my Indian roots.
I am a self-taught silk painter! Inspired by Indian textile prints, henna designs, Indian embroideries and general Indian traditions, I decided to paint silk scarves promoting the rich cultural heritage of India. My scarves are colorful and include motifs such as peacocks, elephants, paisleys, sari borders, block prints, mandalas and much more.
