Description
I came to Japan from Montreal, Canada in 1988. I intended to stay only a year to study the Kyokushin style of Japanese karate and earn a black belt.
In between then and now I've had several publications released, been interviewed in a national newspaper, got married to a lovely Japanese woman, and picked up an advanced degree in international business law. I've been in Japan ever since, doing a little bit of everything:
I am the Chief Information Officer for Secured Infrastructure Design Corporation, an established Information Security company in Tokyo. I am a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), and a BS7799 Lead Auditor. Once upon a time, I came from a wonderful company called Global Integrity Corporation, once the leading information protection firm in the United States and Japan. It was a subsidiary of SAIC.
