Kidd’s Korner offers an innovative and progressive approach to tutoring. Susan, the program’s educator and owner, operates on the knowledge that children learn best when they want to learn and are appropriately challenged. In this, she works closely with children, engaging them with instructional games, manipulative puzzles and creative projects. Activities draw upon multiple senses (vision, hearing, and touch) and invite children to use english, mathematics and critical thought. Kidd’s Korner equips children with the tools and resources necessary to strengthen weaknesses and maximize strengths in subjects taught grades K-9 (specializing in English and Math). High academic standards are persistently sought and achieved. The dedicated school room features a vast library, challenging manipulatives and a computer lab which may be used to play educationally oriented games as a reward after the tutoring session. Your children will receive a well rounded experience which they will enjoy and desire to return.
