The mission of the National Kidney Foundation of the National Capital Area (NKF/NCA) is to prevent kidney and urinary tract diseases, improve the health and well-being of individuals and families affected by these diseases, and increase the availability of all organs for transplantation. The Foundation provides funding for medical research, patient and community services, professional and public education, and organ donation programs.
This position will be responsible for managing our donor database, coordinating the Kidney Cars vehicle donation program, coordinating volunteers for special events, assisting with silent auctions for special events and more.
Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s degree, 1 – 2 years related experience; demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access, as well as working knowledge of database querying and reporting (experience with DonorPerfect and/or other fundraising databases highly desirable); excellent organizational skills, with strict attention to detail in all tasks; proven track record of working cooperatively and flexibly as part of team; strong problem-solving skills and ability to multi-task, set priorities, and maintain positive attitude under pressure.
