- About the School
- The first school to bring Highland Dancing to the Rochester area, the Kintail school of Scottish Highland Dance seeks to promote this art form and provide an alternative way to “keep in shape.” It encourages competition for personal betterment but does not require that students compete. The school also provides performance opportunities with local bagpipe bands, training towards teacher certification, and opportunities to take medal tests which assess the ability of dancers.
