- Kincy Abstract and Sabine Title Company has a long history of serving the greater Hunt County community. Kincy Abstract Company was founded in 1896 and began in the abstract business as the name suggests. As the industry changed and title insurance was offered to the public, Kincy Abstract began issuing Title Insurance as well. In the 1950's, another group of local business people formed the Sabine Title Company. In the late 1970's, the two companies were purchased by a group of local investors who continued to operate the companies under a new corporate name. However, in 1991, Bobby Stovall acquired the stock of the corporation and began the process of merging the two companies into one. Since 1992, the company has been known as Kincy Abstract & Sabine Title Company.
