- I began working in the tile industry approximately 13 years ago. I worked for 7 years in tract housing construction, and after so many years in that industry I realized it was time for a change. I was installing the same tile every time, and with speed rather than quality which is what drives the tract housing industry. The change I wanted was in the way that my craftsmanship was perceived, I wanted to produce quality work that I was proud to stand behind and change the relationship between the customer and the contractor to a more personal level.
