Description
The Borough includes the industrial and commercial centres of Huddersfield, Dewsbury, Batley and Cleckheaton, and enjoys the glorious landscape of the Peak District and the slopes of the Pennine hills.
The Group currently consists of 22 elected Councillors from throughout the area, making it the second largest Group on the Council behind the Liberal Democrats (24). The rest of the Council is made up 18 Labour, 3 Green, 1 BNP, and 1 Independent.
Our Councillors, who come from all walks of life, share the common belief that Kirklees would be more efficiently run by the Conservatives, who would build a better society and a better quality of life for all.
