Kislak Foundation is a private nonprofit cultural institution engaged in the collection, conservation, research and interpretation of rare books, manuscripts, maps and indigenous art and cultural artifacts of the Americas. The Foundation's collection is rich in primary research materials on the history of Florida, the Caribbean and Mesoamerica, with special emphasis on the region's native cultures, their contact with Europeans and the colonial period to about 1820.
