4 guys, 27 personalities, 1 Rock Band....Klatch has been around since late 2001. Over the past years we have been playing consistently throughout central Kansas. We have been fortunate to build a great following of KLATCH fans.
With a book of 125 or so songs to choose from, what you hear from one show to the next will always change. Our music is new and used rock covers with a twist to make them our own. Very upbeat and dance friendly. Response to our style of rock has been awesome!
We pride ourselves on filling the dance floor very quickly. Even people who don't dance find themselves on the floor jammin' as well as a lot of on stage crowd participation. We don't want to be famous but we want you to!

Members:
Don Mercer - Vocals. I was born a Californian and dragged kickin' and screamin' to Kansas at the ripe old age of one. Now I'm kickin' and screamin' with the Klatch boys. You may remember me from my days with January Sun where I spent my formitive years. Raised on the hairbands of the 80s, I still refuse to get a haircut and a real job.
John Dobbin - Bass, Vocals, and geeky stuff. A native Kansan, as well as native Wichitan, John has been playing music for the last 17 years. Largely influenced by what he calls "everything" John's playing is a mix of styles and techniques which adds to the foundation of the songs the band plays.
Don Kuchta - Guitar, Vocals, and Little Blue Things. Originally from Michigan, I moved here in 1991 to help alleviate my fear of trees. Musically, I listen and play pretty much all forms of rock, but I especially love Led Zepplin and Rush. One more thing...my lawyer said I should say I was never part of the KGB.
D.A. VanSickle - Drums, drums, drums, drums, oh yeah - beer. D. A. has lived in South Central Kansas all his life. He started playing the drums at age 12 and played in his first band at 14. He figured he had retired from playing in 2001 but then this crazy man named Don (who he had played with in January Sun) called him and the music bug bit him again. D. A. likes all styles of music but especially the "Hair" bands of the 80's and the real "heavy" stuff. Now the guys in Klatch are teaching him to be melodic and funky!!
