- Kloter Farms is a family owned and operated business in Ellington, CT. Our beginning in 1980 provides some insight into the Kloter Farms way of life. Keith and Jason Kloter took a horse and carriage hobby and turned it into a part time enterprise. To display the harnesses, the Kloters utilized a storage building similar to the ones we sell today. The interest generated by that building pushed Kloter Farms out of the carriage hobby and into the storage building business. Today, just as in 1980, customer input helps to determine the direction of Kloter Farms.
