AboutMe @ AboutUs edit
I have been a part of the AboutUs Portland team since February '07. This whole time I have been reviewing recent edits that have been made on the wiki, working to build community, and helping people use AboutUs.
Below is more of what I'm up to currently:
- Making constructive and suggested edits anytime I see a page that I can add to or improve
- Responding to people that contact AboutUs
- Helping our developers address and fix pertinent bugs, design new features, and make things more user-friendly.
- If you notice a bug please email the details, and if you have an idea for a new feature/improvement add it to our GetSatisfaction.
- Working on recently acquired Jyte.com
- Reviewing edits made to the wiki and communicating with editors on their talk pages
- Tending lists of the best sites about various topics like blues dancing, geography, swing dancing, MP3 blogs, Portland SEO, humorous tees...
On a more personal note, I am 24 and graduated from Portland State University with a BS in Geography in 2008. I also have a background in Journalism and an associates degree from Clark College. I love blues dancing and swing dancing socially and in my living room. I also love to go hiking and rafting anytime that Portland's weather permits.
