L8r’ is an innovative, interactive educational project on video and the web. (Video episodes are also broadcast on the BBC Learning Zone). The teenage audience (12-16) participate in the drama by voting on critical outcomes and advising the characters on the internet. Site message boards and live chat are moderated and hosted by trained peer mentors age 15-25, often young parents.
Dialogue with Ben, Katy, Misha, James, Danny and Tilly, advising them what to do, who with, what to wear, how to handle themselves, what decisions to make in their lives.
Get involved in group work, discussions, create their own stories...(L8r is designed for use in formal education and less formal group work in the community)
