Thank you for visiting LDSMissions.Net! The mission of this site is to provide quality hosting services for LDS Mission Alumni sites, providing a central location for our friends to always find their favorite mission site.

First, some technical mumbo-jumbo. One of the main features of LDSMissions.Net is that we are hosted on a sturdy machine, connected to a sturdy network. We are redundantly connected to the Internet backbone via UUNET, the largest Internet Service Provider in the world. This means speed and reliability should not be a concern. Our server is a Windows NT based machine enabling us to provide ODBC support. This allows a database to be tied into a mission site via Perl (my personal favorite), Active Server Pages, Cold Fusion, iPerform, and numerous other products.

Our goal is to provide a quality environment for returned missionaries to meet old friends, make new ones, and indulge in the sharing of a common background. We have provided some tools to help mission webmasters maintain a database of those who served in their missions. LDSMissions.Net is a friendly environment to develop mission websites.
