Land Registry has prepared a Welsh Language Scheme which provides that, in the conduct of its public business in Wales, Land Registry will treat the English and Welsh languages on the basis of equality.
Land Registry’s Race Equality Scheme will play an important part in ensuring that our services and policies meet the needs, as far as we are able, of all our stakeholders. It gives the framework for us to provide services relevant to everyone’s needs, taking into account the likely impact on particular groups.
The massive task of computerising almost 18 million titles was completed in 2002 and all registered titles are now fully computerised. This has enabled us to improve even further our service to customers. Access to the register by telephone and fax is available to our account customers.
