- L aserLyte is the shooting and hunting division of P&L Industries, Incorporated. Larry Moore, owner and president has been involved with shooting and hunting for nearly thirty years. Moore started out with a book publishing company specializing in survival tactics and weapons. Moore later created and published several magazines including S.W.A.T (Special Weapons and Tactics), Turbo and Arizona Hunter and Angler. In 1987, Moore created a gun accessories business that grew to be Tac Star Industries, Incorporated. With Tac Star, Moore designed and sold lasers along with gun accessories of his own design. In 1996, Moore merged with Lyte Optronics out of California to form “LaserLyte”. Moore sold the gun accessories division in 1997. After 1997, Moore consulted and started a few other successful sporting goods companies. In 2001, Moore purchases back the laser gun sight division from LaserLyte. From 2001 to Present, Moore works diligently on refining some of his previous designs and innovating new designs for shooting sports. Currently, LaserLyte produces a universal bore sight that is accurate within two inches off center at one hundred yards. LaserLyte also offers a complete line of pistol lasers. LaserLyte’s universal laser rail mount will now fit ninety eight percent of all railed pistols. Moore and LaserLyte will continue to make innovative products well into the future.
