- I’m Candace, a 26 year old SAHM to a gorgeous boy who’s attitude sometimes walks a fine line between being a toddler and a teenager. I started this blog when I was pregnant to chronicle the day-to-day-life of a soon to be mom, and then my life as a new mom. Images would dance in my head of what it would be like after I had my baby - we’d play and gaze longingly into each other’s eyes, while my coifed hair and manicured nails would be the envy of my other mom friends. That reality came crashing down when I realized my life was no longer my own and dealing with all the emotions that came with it. When my son was eight months old I was diagnosed with Post-Partum Depression and finally began a healing process that has gotten me to where I am today.
