- where she studied with Harry Callahan and Aaron Siskind. She is Associate Professor at Emerson College and head of the photography program. She is co-founder of New England Women in Photography and co-chaired the National Conference in 1997. She is the recipient of two National Endowment Regional Grants She was recently awarded the Excellence in Teaching Award, 2004, from the Santa Fe Center for Photography. Her work has been exhibited widely throughout the United States and is in collections at the Getty Museum, Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, Art Institute of Chicago, High Museum, and Library of Congress. Her exhibition and documentary video, Maine Women: Living on the Land will premier at the Farnsworth Museum, Rockland, Maine, August 6 -November 27, 2005.
