Lafarge Calcium Aluminates (LCA), an ISO 9001 certified production facility, employs 70 people and produces eight types of calcium aluminate cement for hundreds of customers in a wide range of markets in Mexico, Canada, and the US.
The head office and plant site for LCA is located on the Elizabeth River in Chesapeake, Virginia. Chesapeake is situated in the southeastern part of the state in an area generally referred to as Hampton Roads or the Tidewater Area. The area is bordered on the north by the Chesapeake Bay and on the east by the Atlantic Ocean.
