- Two weeks ago, my favorite band, Sleater-Kinney broke up. Before finding them, it had been a long time since I had a current musical group to declare "favorites." Most of what I liked was 60's or 70's and finding something new! vibrant! angry! was a joy. It didn't last - they only released one new album after I discovered them, for seven total.
