Lead free jig heads and sinkers are made with environmentally safe non-toxic metals. Tin is used for making "tin cans" and bismuth is actually used in health remedies like "Pepto Bismol". The alloys I use weigh about 80% as much as lead but the difference is hardly noticeable. They cast, sink, and handle just like lead. Hooks are premium sharp and x-strong grades selected for quality & value. Because the alloys have a lower melting point than lead, heating for powder paint is not recommended.
