Pleasant Hill was a small community established in 1852 consisting of a church, school and a few settler’s cabins. By 1946 the community had disappeared from the state highway maps. Prior to being subdivided the land was part of a working cattle ranch. Following the acquisition of the right of way for Ronald Reagan Blvd. and E. Crystal Falls Parkway the land holding was reduced to 3.96 acres.
Pleasant Hill is the first hill in the Texas Hill Country. It offers a commanding view of the surrounding area and can be seen for miles.
