- It all started in 1999, when tux put her collection of lyrics online, using nothing but Notepad and hard work. Obviously a bunch of hand-made files wouldn't last for long, but everything needs to start out small. After three years of struggling, Elviver agreed to build a site in PHP, and songs were put into a database. This allowed for lasting growth, the ability to search, and an overall decent site.
