Sometimes great things are discovered by accident - like NutraSweet and Velcro. Honestly, where would we be without the sweet and sticky?
In September 2003, before it was known as LibrarianGear, this site existed as a student association fundraiser. Stationed at Dalhousie University, a few twisted minds at the library school decided to create some tees that were actually worth wearing. The designs were an instant hit with both students and faculty. News of the site quickly (and unintentionally) spread to listservs, and soon people from all over the world were asking if they could buy shirts.
After a brief hiatus (to finish school), LibrarianGear was launched as an independent online store, offering new products and the best of the old ones. Our first attempt at ecommerce had a few bumps, but now we're pleased to launch this site (version 2.0) with a few more bells and whistles.
