Lifeline Systems was founded in 1974 by Dr. Andrew Dibner and Dr. Susan Dibner, a husband-and-wife team of gerontologists. The service was developed to help seniors, people with physical challenges, and patients with medical conditions live confidently and safely at home.
Today, Lifeline has grown to become the recognized leader in the field of personal response services. Over 500,000 Lifeline Subscribers are served through our facilities in Toronto, Ontario, Montreal, Quebec and Framingham, Massachusetts.
Across Canada, the Lifeline service is distributed through a network of more than 250 hospitals, community agencies, and senior living facilities. These community-based programs ensure the Lifeline service is accessible to everyone.
