Karen (Phillips) Ruhl has a professional background that spans 17 years in the radio and television- broadcasting field. During her career from Sales Assistant to General Sales Manager, Karen had the opportunity to work with many different types of businesses and various sized advertising agencies around the country.
Throughout the years, her goals have remained the same, to assist the client in defining their marketing and creative plans, help them create a unique image, profitably sell their products and services and grow their business. The same determination, knowledge and hard work that have brought her success in broadcast advertising proved valuable in her role of entrepreneur. Karen has owned numerous businesses including retail stores, a coupon-clipper magazine and a full service advertising and marketing agency. In 1998, her 7 year old advertising and marketing agency merged with Lighthouse Venture Group. Karen is a sought after speaker who has written training manuals and presented seminars on sales, marketing, advertising and starting a small business. Karen has also transformed her passion for telling stories and her love of children into a series of personalized children's storybooks published through Synergybooks.
