Description
LinkOpp.com was launched in February of 1998. To our knowledge LinkOpp offered the first tiered link advertising system on the internet. LinkOpp members placed html code on their websites which generated a text-link box and this box displayed five other member links. The system was designed so the more members one referred to LinkOpp, the more traffic they would generate.
Although this program is still functional and there are 100’s of sites still running the code, we are not accepting new subscribers.
Around this time LinkOpp also offered domain hosting and free webspace accounts and there are still 100’s of active free webspace users today.
