Ling Phipp was founded in 1974 and nowadays has three partners, five managers plus trainees and support staff. We serve clients in the East Midlands and all over the UK. Our out-of-town location, with easy parking, close to the M1 junction 25 (Nottingham/Derby - A52), is very convenient.
Two of our partners have outside business interests which give us an excellent appreciation of the challenges and difficulties experienced by business today. Our managers have all worked in a wide variety of professional and business environments, to complement our service and advice to clients.
We have been involved in a number of unusual projects, including setting-up the East of England Orchestra (now called "ViVA"), Nottingham Homestart and the Derby & Sandiacre Canal Trust. We have managed and advised on the finances of a wide range of interesting and challenging assignments, including sports clubs, footballers' benefit matches, environmental groups, and major funding applications including the National Lottery. We run a large payroll bureau and provide accounting services to a number of businesses, including TV, radio and sports personalities.
