We know that childhood is precious and seems to go by so quickly. That’s why in 1997 we developed a beautiful and unique keepsake that forever captures a moment in your child's life - carefully crafted hand and foot impressions in finely textured white ceramic. Plaques are available in a variety of shapes and colors. The process is completely safe and pain-free.
The impressions are done at one of our host stores and take only a few minutes. Our special recipe non-toxic clay is rolled and cut according to the size of your child's hand or foot and the shape you have chosen. We then gently press the hand and/or foot into the soft clay, making a lasting imprint of your child. For ease of printing, we recommend toys, treats, full tummies, and plenty of rest. There is no age limit. We can print children as young as two days and adults as old as 90 years!
The plaques are then taken back to our studio, where the rest of the work is done. Each plaque is carefully hand-glazed and kiln-fired, so your keepsake is both beautiful and durable. Decorative embellishments are added and your child's name and age is inscribed on the plaque in goldtone ink. A matching satin ribbon is then attached so that you can display and cherish your keepsake forever. The completed plaques are delivered back to our host store in 6-8 weeks. We will call you when your order is ready for pick-up. If you wish, we can ship your order directly to your home (shipping charges apply).
