Description
Lynne is Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, Texas. She is a registered dietitian, licensed in the State of Texas. She is Director of the Diet Modification Clinic. She has published 45 scientific articles and has written six books in The Living Heart series, including the revision of The Living Heart Diet, which was on the New York Times Bestseller list. She appears frequently on television, has done numerous radio interviews, and is regularly quoted in the press.
She conducts research studies with hyperlipidemic patients who are overweight and have elevated blood glucose levels. She is responsible for the nutrition component of the General Clinical Research Center. She is a consultant at the Center for Collaborative and Interactive Technologies at Baylor and serves on advisory boards outside Baylor.
She has a private practice and enjoys working with individuals who have elevated cholesterol and/or triglyceride levels, high blood pressure, elevated blood glucose, and also those who need to lose weight.
