Lkml.org is an unofficial mailing list about changes to the Linux Kernel

Title

LKML.ORG - the Linux Kernel Mailing List Archive

Description

Hot news

This is the new temporary lkml.org frontpage -- the (raid mirrored) disks in the normal machine decided to quit working simultaneously, but luckily there is a testing setup available on another machine. Some things (like importing new mails and some rss feeds) might be broken right now, but I'm working on integrating those features from the old site's backups. In short: this site'll be back.

BTW, stay away from maxtor disks. Over the past few years, the machine on which lkml.org was running has had at least 5 disk crashes, from the top of my head.

Huh what?

In case you haven't read the titlebar of your webbrowser's window: this site is the (unofficial) Linux Kernel Mailing List archive. This mailing list is a rather high-volume list, where (technical) discussions on the design of and bugs in the Linux kernel take place. If that scares you, please read the FAQ.
