That saying certainly applies to the 25 years that Johnson Outdoors Watercraft Sport & Leisure Group has been bringing fun on the water to hundreds of thousands of customers accross the nation and throughout the world. Like so many successful businesses, Johnson Outdoors Watercraft Sport & Leisure Group had a humble beginning that was based on a vision of making a better product and the drive and determination to make it a reality.
Over the past twenty five years the marketplace has changed and so has our company. We started out in a 4,200 square foot building with a couple of employees and produced a whopping 540 boats during that first year of a single pedal boat model. Today, with over 214,000 square feet of manufacturing, as many as 280 employees turn out those same 540 boats in less than two days during our busiest months.
On February 10, 1998, Johnson Outdoors Watercraft Sport & Leisure Group eagerly became a part of the Johnson Outdoors family. It is our belief that this new relationship will further expand our presence in the small boat market, resulting in nothing but benefits for our customers.
