Description
What is an Automotive Recycler? Essentially we were known as Scrap Yards, Auto Wreckers, Junk Yards, etc. When global pollution and other serious environmental concerns became a world wide topic, it made the Automotive Industry sit up and take note.
The three "R's" were posted everywhere -- Reduce, Reuse & Recycle. We were already well on our way to being Automotive Recyclers. We just needed a little fine tuning. Therefore, we formed several associations. Associations such as the A.R.A. (Automotive Recyclers Association), S.O.A.R. (Southern Ontario Automotive Recyclers) or O.A.R.A. (Ontario Automotive Recyclers Association). These are just to name a few. Together we looked at what our responsibilities were to the environment and its population, and set goals on how to accomplish them.
Here is a brief overview of what we at Logel's Auto Centre do as Automotive Recyclers to make sure we are Reducing, Reusing & Recycling.
