Lon Morris College is a one-of-a-kind place. As the oldest two-year college in Texas, we are committed to providing students with a quality education in a Christian environment. Lon Morris is an accredited, church related, two-year college of the arts and sciences with a core curriculum emphasizing the liberal arts. Lon Morris College offers an atmosphere of warmth and friendliness where individual attention is always available. We strive to encourage our students to meet the highest standards of education and provide personalized guidance through close relationships between students and teachers.
Learning at LMC means an education designed to enrich the whole person. In the tradition of the United Methodist Church, we encourage social application of inner experiences of religion. Learning at LMC inspires an environment in which students can share their dreams and values with each other and foster friendships that will last a lifetime. With a limited enrollment, Lon Morris gives students excellent opportunities to develop leadership abilities through experiences that emphasize student learning and personal development.
