- THE LONG VIEW RV HISTORY...When Fran and Shirley Roberts opened their RV business in 1959, they had no idea that 46 years later they would be the largest and oldest family operated RV business in the country. Now with premier RV locations in Massachusetts, Connecticut, Florida and New York, they are nationally recognized as an industry leader. The Roberts' began in business over four decades ago, on the Mohawk Trail in Greenfield, Mass. The success of the RV sales business made it impossible to continue the growth trends at the original location and a construction project was completed in 1984 at Northampton, Mass. with the result, a state-of-the-art RV facility. The RV sales lot is 5 acres and the list of lines represented so long, they simply advertised as having "All Major RV Brands".
