Description
The Lopburi gallery sells a range of exquisite oriental antiques, specializating in bronze, stone and wooden figures, mainly of the Buddha, from Thailand, Burma and Cambodia. The gallery houses collections ranging from 12th C Khmer to 18th and 19th C Shan, Ayutthaya, Mandalay and Rattanakosin pieces. This is complemented by fine 17th to 19th C painted wooden Tibetan cabinets, chests and tables. The gallery also has a small range of beautiful 20th C gilt and bronze images from Nepal.
