The focus of Lost Levels is to shed some light on video games that, for various reasons, were never released commercially. We’re driven by an insatiable desire to know what we’ve missed out on, and why.
Subsequently, then, the articles presented in every issue of Lost Levels will provide a unique perspective on the video game industry. We’ll often strive to present a “from the trenches” viewpoint from those hard-working souls who put time, energy, and even love into producing pieces of interactive art that never quite made it onto store shelves.
Our hope is that our work here will open up the doors to a community effort. We know that many of you share our love of the forbidden fruits of the video game world. With your help, we can continue solving these digital mysteries and breathing life into works that, by all accounts, should be clinically dead by now.
