About the Times
Inspired by such groups as the Hi-Lo's, the Singers Unlimited, Take 6, and the Manhattan Transfer, the Louisville Times was formed in 1991 by a group of men dedicated to excellence in a cappella singing. Since then, the group has travelled all over the U.S. and Canada, recorded an album, finished sixth in international competition, and thrilled audiences with their energetic, entertaining performances.
After a two year hiatus while members focused on other priorities in their lives, the Times reformed in 2001. With the talent of its new director, Aaron Dale, the Times has built a new repertoire with a great mixture of old and new melodies put to beautiful new harmonies.
