My wife and I have about 80 years of fishing experience between us and one thing that we both have noticed throughout our years of fishing is that fish are naturally attracted to light, luminous objects and bright colors
As kids my wife and I remember using lightning bugs for fish bait and how the fish would bite these when they wouldn't bite anything else. The only problem with the lighting bugs was that their glow just didn't last long enough and after the glow was gone they were just another bug in the water.
