- Lee Volkov was a student at a Revere High School when the opportunity came to take over the school's internal radio station (WRHS) due the graduation of the station's primary DJ. As soon as football season started, Lee was asked by the Revere Football Boosters to disc jockey a dance after a football game as a fundraiser for the club. Having no equipment of his own at the time, Lee borrowed anything he could from the bandroom and auditorium. This first event (see picture below) took place in the fall of 1988.
